However, I would have been willing to pay a little more for added comfort and amenities. the walk to the sealife sanctuary and into town was a nice feature of the location. the room I was initially given was extremely small and cramped, with a sloping ceiling that made it difficult for my partner to stand up properly. the TV did not work, and the overall layout of the room left much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel itself was spotlessly clean and had a friendly atmosphere. the lounge area with a bar was a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, Clarence Gardens Hotel offers decent value for money but falls short in terms of comfort and luxury. I would recommend it for budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean and friendly place to stay.
